Hey,

I propose the Ash worm for the new skin for the lickers :)

It would show that it is a dangerous zombie. What do you think about it ?

I can scale it of course, don't worry for that. Seems this model could fit well for a tentacle coming from his mouth.

When I see the Ash Worm model I think more of the Thresher Maws than lickers. Ash Worms are subterranean creatures, So them moving above ground in the way a licker would move just seems off.

As for an alternate, The Alexei Stukov model might fit.

Ash worms can move on the ground too. I think that to see 3 stukov together would seem strange, with his cap.

Not sure what I was thinking when I suggested the Stukov model, But I agree.

The thing about the Ash Worm is that the main part of it's model is above ground while the lower section is below ground. If it were to move toward you without burrowing like it does in the campaign then wouldn't it just phase through the dirt like it wasn't there? If it was the Hydralisk model on the other hand, It would just slither above ground and that wouldn't be an issue.

When I preview the model in the data editor, the ash worm seems to be able to walk on the ground. But in the cutscene editor, he has not any move animation and he is semi burrowed, so I guess you are right. Maybe it remains possible but it may be huge work just to use this model.

Hydralisks may be a good other option then.
